Endurance and Babies
There has been a whole host of activities and events from members of the club this month.
The main event for WTC this month has been the club championship event - The Hever Festival of Endurance! True to its name, this event required athletes to go long with options of long swims, runs, aquathons, aquabikes and triathlons on offer. And WTC went on mass. What we didn't realise was that Hever is in a rather hilly part of the country and none of us were expecting the level of elevation required.

The second Oxford Tri series also took place this month with a new and improved bike route. Alex Smallshaw, Matt Clamp, Kate Edwards, Sarah Soles, Graham Taylor and Richard Thompson all competed and a special congratulations to Ash as it was his first triathlon.
We also had Jim Lemin compete in the World Triathlon Series event for GBR in Sunderland finishing in 3 hours, 10 mins, 38 secs. Congratulations Jim!

Rosie Rand was also due to swim the Brownsea Island swim, but the event was cancelled at the last minute due to weather. So Rosie swam to Old Harry instead. Good work Rosie!
And we have two new "members" to the WTC family. Massive congratulations go to Amy Underdown on the birth of Penelope Joyce and to Leigh-Ann Bard on the birth of Logan.
